The Jilin Provincial Healthcare-associated Infection Management Quality Control Center was established in July 2011 and is affiliated with The Second Norman Bethune Hospital of Jilin University. Under the leadership of the Provincial Health Department, it is responsible for the inspection, guidance, and assessment of healthcare-associated infection management in the province.

Main Functions of the Center:

1. Formulating quality control procedures, standards, and plans for healthcare-associated infection management in the province. Implementing quality control tasks under the guidance of the Provincial Health Department.

2. Regularly releasing assessment plans, quality control indicators, and evaluation results for healthcare-associated infection management with the approval of the Provincial Health Department.

3. Establishing a professional quality control network for healthcare-associated infection management in the province and guiding the work of quality control centers in various cities (prefectures).

4. Building a database of information related to healthcare-associated infection management in the province.

5. Formulating development plans for professional talent in healthcare-associated infection management and organizing training for relevant professionals in the province.

6. Conducting research and analysis on the planning, layout, infrastructure standards, and application of relevant technologies and equipment in healthcare-associated infection management to support decision-making by health administrative departments.

7. Completing other tasks assigned by the Provincial Health Department.

The director of the Jilin Provincial Healthcare-associated Infection Management Quality Control Center is Mr. Yang Yunhai, Director of the Healthcare-associated Infection Management Department at our hospital. He is an expert at the National Healthcare-associated Infection Quality Control Center, a member of the Healthcare-associated Infection Control Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, and the Standing Vice Director of the Healthcare-associated Infection Control Branch of the Jilin Preventive Medicine Association. With extensive experience and leadership in healthcare-associated infection management, he brings valuable expertise to the role.
