(Wang He, Report) In response to national initiatives to enhance academic exchanges with relevant countries and elevate academic influence, one year ago, Professor Liu Bin, Director of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at our hospital, was invited by Dr. Liew, Director of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Sabah Heart Centre, Queen Elizabeth II in Malaysia, to conduct an academic visit and perform surgical demonstrations at the centre.
On August 2-3 this year, Professor Liu Bin was once again invited to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Malaysia, where he delivered an academic report titled "PCI in CTO of Ischemic Cardiomyopathy with Heart Failure" and performed excellent live demonstrations on six complex CTO cases over the two days.
It is noted that Professor Liu Bin is the first Chinese doctor to obtain a medical license in the region and be invited to practice there. The hospital’s repeat invitation reflects their high recognition of Professor Liu Bin’s academic standing and surgical expertise.
