Recently, to further strengthen disciplinary development and talent cultivation, as well as enhance scientific research and clinical capabilities, Professor Zhang Xingyi, President of the hospital, led an 11-member delegation consisting of experts from various disciplines including obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology, cardiac surgery, orthopedics, thoracic surgery, pathology, surgery, and anesthesiology on a visit to the United States for academic exchange.

The delegation visited nearly ten medical and research institutions, including Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital affiliated with Harvard University, as well as the affiliated hospitals and cancer research centers of Emory University. The delegation members attended reports on medical quality control management and nursing quality control management delivered by their American counterparts, and engaged in one-on-one professional exchanges to explore pathways for future in-depth collaboration and communication. Professor Zhang Xingyi, President of the hospital, held friendly discussions with hospital presidents and senior administrators from Harvard University, Emory University, and other institutions, reaching preliminary intentions for mutual cooperation.

This visit provided the delegation with valuable insights into clinical practice, scientific research, and standardized management. It also opened new avenues for collaboration in talent development, disciplinary advancement, and enhanced research capabilities by connecting with world-leading medical institutions.
