　　He is skilled at the diagnosis and treatment of common ophthalmic diseases, frequently occurring disease and miscellaneous problems; mastering the treatments of glaucoma, which are credited by patients and receive good treatment effects. Associate professor Zhang especially has a good reputation at the early diagnosis of Glaucoma and complex operation of Glaucoma; having a deep knowledge of after-operation of Glaucoma and individualization treatment of Glaucoma.

　　Professor Zhang published 40 academic papers, six SCI papers and two EI of which are the first writer; he presided and participated more than 10 subjects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and Provincial and ministerial level task, with two Academic monographs.
